the short version: real brat generator does not want your data and does not take it. everything below is just detail.

what we do not collect

Your text, your images, your settings: none of it reaches us. There are no accounts and no signup. We set no cookies of our own and run no trackers of our own. Two third parties are involved, both covered below: the ad system, and the contact form. We could not sell or leak what you make here if we tried, because we never hold it.

what happens in your browser

The brat generator draws your image on an HTML5 canvas, entirely on your device. Typing, previewing, and downloading all happen locally. Nothing you type is transmitted to this site.

One feature touches a URL: copy link. When you click it, your current settings (text, colors, style, size) are encoded into the page address and copied to your clipboard, so you can send a design to someone. That happens only when you click, we do not log the result, and the link contains nothing except what you chose to put in it.

hosting

The site is served from Cloudflare's network. Like most hosting providers, Cloudflare may keep standard server logs (things like IP address and user agent) under its own privacy policies. That logging belongs to Cloudflare, not us, and we add nothing on top of it.

analytics

None. There is no analytics script on this site, no product telemetry, and no session recording. We do not know which pages you visited or what you made. If that ever changes, this page will be updated first and the date above will change with it. No silent switches.

advertising and cookies

This site is free, and advertising is what pays for it. We use Google AdSense to show those ads. That is the one part of the site where a third party is involved, so here is exactly what it means.

You can turn personalized advertising off at Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info. Google's own explanation of how it uses data from sites that use its services is at policies.google.com. Your browser's cookie settings and any tracker blocker you already run also work here; the generator itself keeps working with all of it blocked, because it needs none of it.

If you are in the EU, the UK, or a region with similar rules, Google presents a consent choice before personalized ads are served, and your answer is honoured by the ad system rather than by us.

the contact form

The contact page embeds a Google Form. It loads only on that page, and only when you scroll to it. Because it comes from Google, it can set its own cookies inside that box, the same as visiting a Google Form anywhere else.

Whatever you type into the form goes to Google and then to us. That is the one place on this site where something you type does leave your browser, and it happens only if you fill it in and press submit. We read those messages and reply from the email address on the contact page. If you would rather not involve Google at all, email us directly instead; the address is on the same page and reaches exactly the same inbox.

children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we knowingly collect nothing from anyone, of any age.

your rights

Rights to access, correct, or delete personal data only bite when someone holds that data. The only thing we hold is what you chose to send us: a contact form submission or an email. Ask us to delete it and we will, from both the form responses and the inbox. Nothing about your use of the generator is held anywhere, because none of it is ever collected. For the advertising cookies described above, the controls are the opt-out links in that section, plus your browser.

changes to this policy

If what we do changes, this page changes first and the date at the top moves with it.
