about us

this site is a free brat generator for the lime-green lowercase cover look. it exists because most of the alternatives are a mess.

why this exists

Search for a generator in this style and you get the same site over and over: an export that comes out a few hundred pixels wide with a watermark stamped in the corner, and a tool buried under so much else that finding it is the hard part. Some sites advertise high resolution and just stretch a small canvas until the number sounds right. We got tired of that, so we built the brat generator we actually wanted to use. Free, no watermark, no signup, no limits.

the accuracy part

Instead of eyeballing the aesthetic, we measured the original artwork. The green is exactly #8ACE00. The type is an arial-family face squished to about 69% of its natural width. The original's softness measures 0.4% of the canvas edge, picked up from being designed small and scaled up; the blur slider has that exact value one stop up from our slightly crisper default. And when you export a PNG, JPG, or WebP, it renders at the full resolution of the size preset you picked. The preview is the file.

the privacy part

The whole brat generator runs in your browser on an HTML5 canvas. Your text is never uploaded, never stored, never seen by us. No accounts, no cookies set by the site. Close the tab and the only copy of your image is the one you downloaded. The details live on the privacy page.

how it pays for itself

Hosting and domains cost money, and the tool is free with nothing locked behind a signup, so ads cover the bill. They are served by Google AdSense and kept out of the way of the generator itself. Nothing about the tool changes because of them: no watermark, no export limit, no feature held back for a paid tier. The privacy page explains exactly what the ad system does and how to switch personalized ads off.

the fine print

This is an independent, fan-made tool. It is not affiliated with any artist or record label. The 2024 lime-green cover trend belongs to the internet at this point; we just think the tools for it should not be terrible. The images you make here are yours.
